Our client is a European IT service provider that offers consulting, software development, managed services, IT security, and AI solutions for regulated industries like telecommunications, finance, and logistics.

This role is responsible for high quality technical development within Finance, FI_CA and BRIM. The ABAP Developer implements enhancements, interfaces and extensions based on technical designs provides by the ASrvitect or TPO. This positions requires strong S4HANA development skills and the ability to work in a tightly governed environment.

The SAP team will be responsible for: Implementation & configuration, Development & integration, Stabilization & incident handling, Testing & documentation, Continuous delivery of SAP Finance & Billing services.

We´re looking for a senior consultant with at least 5-10 years experience in ABAP development and 2-3+ years experience in FI-CA or BRIM CI. This person must also have strong experience and skills with S/4HANA development and a basis finance billing knowledge.

Convergent Accounting (FI-CA) Development

• FI-CA event framework

• Posting logic extensions

• Document model and Open Item processing

• Payment and clearing logic

• Analysis of FI-CA related dumps and logs

BRIM CI Development

• CI-related BAdIs and enhancements

• Processing logic for billable items and billing orders

• Debugging incoice and billing processes

• Error analysis in billing chains

Integration and Interfaces

• IDoc development and monotoring

• OData and SOAP troubleshooting

• Understanding of CPI payloads and error logs

• Ability to support functional and integration teams

Methods and Tools

• ABAP Unit

• ATC/static code checks

• Version control (Git) is a plus
