Our client is a European IT service provider that offers consulting, software development, managed services, IT security, and AI solutions for regulated industries like telecommunications, finance, and logistics.

As part of the long-term Nearshore SAP Delivery Team the Functional Consultant supports the Finance Core (FI/CO) and Convergent Accounting (FI_CA) processes and ensures that all changes, configurations and analyses are executed according to the design and guidance provided by the Rechnical Process Pwner (TPO) and Business Process. Owner (BPO). The SAP team will be responsible for: Implementation & configuration, Development & integration, Stabilization & incident handling, Testing & documentation, Continuous delivery of SAP Finance & Billing services.

This position requires strong SAP Finance capabilities combined with the ability to work in a structured governance environment.

We´re looking for a senior consultant with at least 5-7 years experience in SAP FI/CO and 3+ years experience in SAP FI/CA. This person must have experience with high-volume finance or billing processes and knowledge in S/4HANA (preferred).

Tasks:

Finance Core (FI/CO)

• Ledger configuration, postings, account determination

• Accounts receivable: dunning, payments, open item management

• Asset accounting: basic understanding of asset lifecycle

• Controlling cost centers, profit centers and internal orders

Convergent Accounting (FI-CA)

• Contract account master data

• Understanding of FI_CA events uswed for posting logic

• Posting clearing logic in FI-.CA

• Payment processing including payment

• Dunning processes within FI-CA

• Reconciliation of FI-CA to FI-GL

• FI-CA document structure, open items, account balance management

S4HANA Specific

• Universal journal integration

• Fiori apps for finance and converging accounting

• Business Partner data model

• Payment of bank communications

Processes and Integration

• Good understanding of billing to FI-CA and FI postings

• Reading and interpreting interface logs and IDocs

• Error anlysis across Finance and Billing components
